He's the fae king whose blood will allow a vampire to walk into the light.

As a brainwashed vampire assassin, you would think killing the fae king would be easy, but it wasn’t.
Despite psychic fingers messing with my brain, I found myself drawn to my target.
You would think being promised another would protect my heart from succumbing to the fae king’s gruff disposition, it does not.
The task was simple; kill the king to save my sister.
The more I resisted him, the closer we became.
She wasn’t the only one in jeopardy. Destroying assassins was not the only obstacle I faced. Keeping my heart firmly out of the king’s palm was paramount or my sister’s life wouldn’t be the only thing that I lost.
